Thank you for sticking by us as we navigate these circumstances. Here at Fenelon Falls Real Estate, we will continue to do our best to ward off the Covid-19 virus. A screen was installed on the front desk for everyone’s protection and office surfaces are wiped down regularly with disinfectant. Also, everyone entering our office is required to wear a mask. Masks and hand sanitizer is provided at the entrance in case someone forgets. So far, so good. All staff, sales reps and owners at FFREL have managed to stay healthy during this crisis, thanks to frequent hand washing, social distancing and wearing masks.
Fenelon Falls Real Estate is back to regular business hours with our Office Administrator in the office Mondays to Fridays, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and during warmer weather our Saturday receptionist will be here from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We ask friends, clients, colleagues and customers to please wear a mask upon entering our office and respect personal distancing. There is a mailbox beside our entrance porch which can be used to drop off deposit cheques, offers, etc… if you prefer not to enter our building. Please phone the office at 705-887-4242 and inform us when you choose this option, especially if using it during off hours. Most importantly, if your health is in any way less than optimal, please stay home and get well soon!
The real estate market is thriving, with most properties selling fairly quickly and right now there are more buyers than listings. If you are thinking of making a move please contact the office or one of our Sales Reps directly and we will be happy to assist you. There is no better time than the present and rest assured we will respect the health of you and your loved ones just as we expect you will respect ours.
As this city fluctuates between different stages of lock-down and re-opening, realtors must be flexible in our decisions to service our clients while at the same time following procedures which meet with City, Provincial, and RECO guidelines. Decisions regarding Open Houses and Showings will be made according to those guidelines and at all times after consulting with our clients. Regardless of what ‘stage’ this area is in, if Sellers are not comfortable with Open Houses, we will respect that. If you wish to look at properties we will require your names and contact info and have you answer a few health and travel questions before doing so. We also ask that you not touch surfaces or objects in homes while viewing them. If you are interested in placing an offer, we understand the need to look closer but please be considerate of the current homeowners and their health concerns.
Old habits can be tough to break, especially when meeting up with friends and extended family, but we believe that it is better to be safe than sorry. As children head back to school we hope and pray that people remain vigilant with hand washing, wear a mask when inside public buildings where possible, continue striving to remain 2 meters apart in public spaces and do everything else necessary to stay healthy. Respect and courtesy towards others must always prevail. May we all rest easy in the knowledge that this too shall pass.
