Peter’s real estate career began in 1984, after a decade working in the design technology department with a major home builder in Calgary, Alberta. His extensive involvement with the National Home Builder’s Association and his mechanical background allowed him to successfully achieve and go beyond his client’s real estate expectations. In 1986 the Witt family moved back to Ontario and in 1987 settled in Fenelon Falls. By 1988 Peter was ready to resume his real estate profession. After several years of selling and managing real estate offices for other companies, Peter opened his own brokerage, Peter Witt Real Estate Ltd., in 1996. He successfully worked out of his home office until 2005, when with his wife Wendy, he purchased 20 May Street in Fenelon Falls and renamed the brokerage. Today their brokerage office is located on the west side of Cameron Lake. Fenelon Falls Real Estate Ltd. held their grand opening in Nov 2005.

Mark is no stranger to the Kawarthas. He has enjoyed summers in Fenelon Falls since 1997. He finally made the move and settled in Fenelon Falls with his family in 2007.  In his words “Giving up the hectic city life for a more relaxed and healthy lifestyle choice, is a move I will never regret”.

Mark loves to travel and is also an Outdoor Adventure Enthusiast. Mark’s background includes Management in Pharmaceutical Industry and Small Business Ownership right here in Fenelon Falls. That being said, with almost 16 years of experience in Management and Customer Service, Real Estate Sales comes naturally to Mark. In 1975 Wendy Witt and her husband Peter purchased their first home. A young couple in their twenties, they were living in Calgary, Alberta, far from their Ontario family’s support. Wendy found this to be a very daunting experience, placing total trust in strangers to walk them through all the negotiating and legalities involved in the process. Shortly after this, Wendy decided to get her real estate license and become familiar with the real estate profession so that they could proceed with more confidence in future moves. Although she soon left real estate to raise a family, Wendy knew this was a field that Peter would enjoy and in which he would most likely excel. When Peter was looking for a career change a few years later, she encouraged Peter to try real estate sales, promising to join him in this profession in the future. In 2005 Wendy fulfilled this promise and worked with Peter as a Sales Associate and co-owner of Fenelon Falls Real Estate Ltd until February 28, 2017.  On March 1st, 2017, she began a new role with the company as sales consultant and CEO while maintaining co-ownership with Peter.
